wow thanks for all the replies, sorry I have been out celebrating my MUMMY's 70th birthday and boy did we celebrate.
Cheers guys it looks like a curing problem then. I didnt do it thick but I did use my CND lamp. OPI didnt have any led lamps in stock when I bought the gel last week.
It might be that I needed to cure a little longer. This definitely seems to make sense.
