Ordering from Sweet Squared.

i have qualified in level 3 ITEC diploma in nail tech and i have rang sweet squared up today to order some products and the lady on the phone told me i can only order with them with nvq or vtct qualification! i dont understand! can any1 tell me if this is true and why please ?

If they have told you then it is presumably true - maybe you could call them back and ask them for their reasoning. It may be that they have not assessed the details of the ITEC diploma.

They will be the ones who can give you the true answer.

Maybe if you could fax or e mail your cert to let them see...i am sure there is some explanation.

ITEC is in the same realms as VTCT...they would probably argue that they are better than VTCT...but that is another thread...LOL

You have to undertake a conversion in your chosen field of expertise wether it be L&P,Gel or both!....I am assuming maybe you have undertaken a conversion to get to handle the products?

As for natural nail care you can order products and get a "secondary account" i think it is called.

However for different enhancement systems a conversion is a pre requisite prior to purchasing products....i think!...correct me if i am wrong someone

the first lady i spoke to said its fine to just fax a copy of my cert so i did and then i spoke to another lady and she said i cant with ITEC but then she was unsure and said she wasnt 100 % and doesnt know why this is? i said ill try and find out and she told me to call her as soon as i did! im just confused and don't under stand why u can order with nvq + and vtct but not itec?

hEY Miss Belle - I think this has been sorted as I was asked first thing Monday morning about it. We do accept ITEC but the lady you spoke to the second time around has only been with us for a month and was simply unsure!! Let me know that all is well! :hug:

yes it as been sorted thankyou very much.

i know the lady i spoke to was fantastic she did explain she was new after but she tried 100% to sort it out for me.

i rang yest aswell to book on the converstion course and spoke to another lady that was also brilliant with the questions i asked.

the service as been brilliant everytime even tho there was a bit of confusion i know the lady tried her best to find out for me.

I shall be qualifying really soon with an nvq2, and we use cnd L&P products, but I was told yesterday that I would have to do a conversion with them ? , now that doesn't make any sense to me at all, so that just leaves options open to me !

If you have qualified with NVQ level II or III you are able to buy - particularly if you were taught with them!!:lol:

I'm taught with my local college, using CND products, not with sweetsquared or any of their academies, I'm going to give ss a ring now, to put my mind at rest:hug:

Well I just rang them, and I can order small amounts of the products, any of the other stuff like files, scrubfresh etc, which I knew anyway, but when I get my nvq2 cert, I have to email a copy and then I can order any amount of stuff ooo extra training I want asap lol
