'Own Brand' retail

Helloo Geeks!

Just wondering, has anyone ever branded their salon names onto products to retail? Such as tote bags, for example.

Do they sell well? What would be pro's/con's of this?

Any help would be very much appreciated x

As a customer, personally I wouldn't buy a branded bag from a salon. If I was given one as a gift I might use it though. I just can't imagine who might buy them....erm, I mean that in the nicest possible way :lol:

Thankyou for your reply! The business I'm looking to create isn't salon-based so I think it may work more for my type of business as you mentioned, I was just curious if anyone had done it before or with other items.

Products yes, but your going to have to ween them off their usual brand and to yours. As for totes they may sell, but I can't see many selling unless the customer is a regular and loyal xoxo
