Hiya, ive just bought a paraffin wax bath so i decided to make my bf try it out and managed to almost burn his feet off lol, there is no temp control on it its just basically on n off has anyone got any advice please! oh its mercia makexx:rolleyes:

Can only assume it is thermastatically controlled, so there may be something wrong with it. Typically though when using paraffin on the feet, the feet are a tad more sensitive than our hands. You may try to dip your finger in it and see how that feels. If it feels too hot to the point of burning I would suggest taking it back and trading for another.

thank you i did dip my hand in after he started moaning as i thought he was just being a wuss but it was red hot will see if i can get a replacement thanks x

You are welcome. It occurred to me later today that maybe using a meat or candy thermometer could tell at what temp the wax was. Probably shouldn't be over 120 degrees f (sorry not sure what that would in c).
