Hey

At the moment I don't offer this as a service option, however I am looking for something to upgrade my luxury mani even more! What do you fellow geeks reckona about it? If you like it why? What do you use?

Thanks geeks

i love paraffin wax treatment it such a lovely feeling when the wax encapsulates your hands or feet and your skins so soft and smooth afterwards, plus the other benefits improving blood circulation and soothing aching joints, in fact i'm going to treat myself to one tonight:)..xx

My clients love parafin treatments in the winter. Makes your hands/tootsies all nice and toasty and so soft. I don't remember the brand of wax I use, but it's eucalyptus scented with tea tree oil. Smells and feels wonderful!

I would definitely recommend adding this service to your menu, if you can. :)

I recently bought some chocolate wax for my treatments.
Mmmm...heavenly, especially for a chocoholic like me.

I also use the strips instead of dipping, in my area, double dipping in the pot is against sanitation regulations. The strips get dipped and saturated in the pot and then I use tongs and a gloved hand to apply on to the body part (hands, feet, elbows or knees) and then cover with a plastic liner and warming mitts for hands or boots for feet, or warm towels on elbows and knees.

Clients love this, it's pure pampering.

We have paraffin wax listed on our price list as a separate treatment but nobody has ever booked in for it. It's incorporated into our luxury manicure/pedicure but we do very few of these.

However, it is one of the choices when we do pamper parties & is usually one of the more popular treatments.

We also include it sometimes in our monthly treatment packages & clients love it.

I think that if you include it as a service you may need to promote it more than some other treatments. (in my experience anyway)

thanks geeks for all your imput.

I am still not sure, i think whats putting me off the most is what equipment to get and from which supplier?
