Really like this idea, why would you need to do it with an iphone and an attachment, couldn't you set up a business paypal account and with having an android, or ipod, iphone, tablet whatever in salon couldn't they jusst log in and transfer the money across?!
Might give that a go!!

hello lovelies

i have a paypal shop on my website, clients without a paypal account can pay as a guest using their card. I either get clients to pay in advance or use my Nokia phone or soon my android tablet at their appointment.

I guess if you don't have a shop facility on your website you can still use paypal on your phone or tablet via paypal website.

Just a thought in the interim until this is rolled out fully x x x
