I am looking at ways to improve my visibility to potential future clients. I find newspaper advertising a bit hit and miss, I think the best thing I have done is starting a website.

We are purely a beauty salon and I am mulling over contacting hairdressers in my area to see if there is a way of working together, be it advertising in each others salons, providing therapists for events etc, or a loyalty scheme etc. I've also thought about one in particular that doesnt have a website, offering a page on mine? Do you think that any of these ideas have any mileage? Or can anyone suggest any others?

To be honest I haven't thought about it like that. Are you talking about deals on websites that are for web visitors only? For example something they can print off and redeem in Salon?
