Hi guys. I have a really nice girl who works with me a few days a week (she rents a nail bar and ONLY does manicures and enhancements)

I am getting a pedicure spa chair in a few months and she would like to start offering pedicures, however i cant just give it to he for free as i could be using it myself in that case.

What would be a fair rate for her to pay to use it? (she pays £15 per day for the nail bar)

thanks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I should rent it to her for either a small percentage of each pedicure treatment she does or add on some extra rent to her daily rent for the use fo the chair whenever she wants/needs it.

well i thought about the extra rent each day, but surely then she would be able to use it as much as she wants and then i may lose out on alot of my pedicures. I think percentage is a good idea, but im how not sure how much as we do 4 different pedicures (£9, £20, £30, £40). Or would a set amount per hour or per pedicure be fair? I really dont want to charge too much but i also need to make the most i can because i can make £30 per hour for a pedicure

thankyou xxxxxxxx

Well I should think with good planning, you won't clash much over the chair
As I say, I would charge a small comission of say 5% on the cost of each treatment when she is using the chair.
