OK advice please. How do you achieve a thin free edge with a french finish? I always feel the white tip adds too much bulk and when I thin it down it fades? Please help!!

Thanks!

I use a brush on french white gel. I find it helps keep the free edge nice a thin and it is easy to file off and replace during a rebalance.
Most gel lines have their own version of the brush on french, I use NSI.

Have a good prep first .Put the brush in the white gel .Take the side of the brush with white gel on and swipe across from one side to the other,(make sure the polish is thin) dipping slightly in the middle to create a smile line. then cure under lamp ,Then use clear gel over top.hth.xx

I use POW...and just use 1 coat now as i have sussed how to do it...but i used to do 2 thin coats and that help.

Then i always cap with clear...this way i can buff to final shape and know that my POW is protected.

Also remember...when doing your builder layer...just build in zone 2...otherwise your free edge will be thick once your white is on....taper the gel thin at the free edge..this allows room for your white.
