Hi,

I’m wanting to do a perm so it looks like loose curls. At the moment the hair is nearly a one length bob close to shoulder length with a few layers running thru it.

Can you recommend what number perm rods I should use to create this please, so that the curls stay when it’s dropped after a few weeks?

Thanks

Can you post a picture of what you’re looking for?
I would normally expect the curls to drop into loose waves after a few weeks but perhaps you meant something else?

Thanks for your reply.

The effect required is like the photos

Hi. Any advice would be much appreciated. I will be using Wella Curl It Intense lotion

For that sort of style I’d do a spiral perm placing them vertically instead of horizontally using either the soft foam bendy rollers or ordinary perm rods, say 11 and 13 mm and use 2 sizes so that you get some variation.
However, it would depend on the density, cut and how much it’s been layered.

Good luck and please post a picture of the finished style.

Thanks very much
