Permanent Toenail Removal

Has anyone else had there toenail permanently removed with Phenol?

How long did it take to heal / wear shoes / stopped discharge?

My surgeon said 4wks till I'm back in shoes but to be honest I'm at 4wks now and it doesn't look like it's healed at all and she's now on 3wks holiday with no cover apparantly so I have no-one to ask for advice?

I have photos from wk 2,3 & 4 and they look roughly the same.....

Hi a friend of mine had hers removed (little tiny bit left at the cuti) she struggled for about 10 weeks but did get an infection early on. I do feel for you she was in a lot of discomfort. I gather you wanna get your socks & boots on in this weather!
Can you see your practise nurse at your surgery she should be able to tell if its healing at the normal rate or not
