hi, im new here although have been lurking for a while.
I recently purchased a phd waxing system from ellisons, I have realised its not for me at all and want to sell it. i unfortunately bought the full kit along with loads of extra heads etc.

other than the obvious ebay, does anyone know of anywhere i can sell this equipment. i looked on ebay and its only going for about £35 and it cost me a lot more than that.

i just wondered of there was a specific site that sold beauty products..
many thanks.

try at the local college if they teach beauty therapy, they may allow you to advetise there, thats what i did.

Can i just ask what it is about the Phd that isnt for you?
Did you partake in the training?

Hello Oililymad
I was wondering that too? It is just that I don't think you would get back anywhere near what you paid for it and whether it might be better to get to grips with it. I am using PhD and felt that it would be brilliant for me as a newbie going into waxing. In the end I have only had my waxing training with the regular pot method but the teacher demonstrated PhD and from there I was hooked. It does take a little getting used to and I think in time I will be even better with it. The DVD that comes with it is worth watching over and over.

I started off with the Honey Wax and had problems then tried the Tea Tree wax and did better and am now trying the Honey Wax again I am finding that possibly easier after all! It does get easier and easier the more you use it. I am mobile so it suited me well. Though overall, it is more expensive to run than traditional pot waxing so prices have to reflect that.

Another point about selling it - anything I buy would have to have a receipt so I can put it against my tax/expenses. You might want to bear that in mind. Also, if you do opt to sell it then take as many photos of it all so that people can see they are buying sealed and clean stock. Sorry I haven't actually answered the question you have asked!
