Hi everyone today ive been trying to put together my pricelist at instead of having it like a folded brouchure ive choose a Booklet format on Microsoft Publisher as ive got quite a few pages to add to it so would like to staple them afterwards so im not limited on page numbers. I have designed the first page which is single with my front cover the next two pages are two and three and i wrote an introduction on there but its coming out seperately i tried writing it on the right hand side so when folded it appears on the left but still their not forming into the right pages. I wish i left it to the professionals time times running out i have to get it done by the end of this week for opening just id been so busy with the building side of things and thought this would be simpler but it isn't.
If anyone uses miscrosoft publisher in a booklet format mine is landcape and im writing on it downwards i'd really apreciate if you can tell me whether its possible to do i'm just getting myself in a pickle here
hope you can help:(
thankyou for reading this

i have had a little play with what you are saying.

page 1 is front cover

page 2 and 3 middle pages

page 4 back page.

it seems to work fine for me, print page 1 first then re insert paper to print page 2 and 3

Hi Jane just read what you said the front cover is a single page but- yet if its in a booklet style then when folded the inside panel on the right hand side should be the last page on the inside on my booklet.
However it doesnt show the page behind the front cover which i would class as my first page that client's open and where i'd like to put my introduction
as i wanted to add more pages then what publisher have provided and they come in twos. what i dont get it that it looks like a booklet there yet but wont match up when needed to be printed im sure there is a way of doing it though just i dont know it

Yes when folded page 1 is the front page and page 4 is the very last page

page 2 and 3 are the 2 middle pages

so if you were to add more pages later you would put them in between pages 2 and 3

i tried it out and printed and all worked fine

at the bottom of the page does it show tabs 1 2 3 4

At the moment i've added 8 pages so 1 is the front cover and is single and 8 the last page and is also single so when printed them two should come together on one page and fold into a booklet
So now im thinking page two and three two being my introduction and three being where i wrote the list of treatments i offer on that very page to begin with should be printed behind the front/back cover so it follows after it
I think ive got it now does it sound right? lol

LOL

1 and 8 would be on one page front and back

if you wanted the page behind front page blank you wouldnt type on page 2 you would start from page 3 (like a book cover)

when printing you will have to print one page a time and then turnthe page over and re insert into printer. (if youare doing what i think youare doing :irked:

Thankyou Jane for being patient and understand.
I do understand now what you mean that my introduction will fall onto page 3
i just didnt want a waste a blank page behind the front cover so wanted to place my introduction their but if it doesn't work i'll just have to have it blank then start from page three or like you said i could turn the front/back page over then print it behind there.
You see when i do print pages seperately it does seperate 1 and 8 as its not printed as a booklet so ill have to finish it completely ive wasted so much ink on trail testing it im not sure i'll have enough lol when i Eventually get it right.
But if not then ill just gave 2 keep one blank page
so kind of you to take your time and reply i really apreciate it

Thats ok

I have tried so many ways myself i know what you are going through
