Hi all
im looking for your help.
about a day after ive done acrylics some of them seem to appear to be lifting around the cutical and the edges, ive done every thing i can think of....taken off all the shine, pushed back the cutical....
any ideas???

Hi
I know this sounds obvious but are you cleaning the nail plate with nail pure twice, then applying primer to the nail before you put the acrylic on?

This also happens to me on occasion when I've not patted the acrylic down enough at the cuticle area.

Yeh im cleaning it all and using the nail primer :-(
At the mo im using acrylic powder and liquid that i had with my nail course (essential nails)
Should i change the l&p....any ides what i should change to?

With the EN course, was there any practical training at all?

A lot of tech's try and fix problems by switching brands ect, without identifying the exact problem. A one to one with an educator would probably be good for you. :)

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that (apart from insufficient prep) you're more than likely having soft tissue contact with your product, this will always cause lifting.
You need to keep a small margin in zone 3 (eponychium) and the sidewalls to stop it happening.
The other thing could be your mix ratio.

I agree with Natalie re having some 1-1 time with an educator, they will be able to see straight away what's causing your lifting problems :green:
