Does anybody know what the causes are for centre pocket lifting on a gel nail??? :?:
please help!! thanks! x

pocket lfting is where great stress has caused the nail to forcefully lift as the force travels up through the thickest part.

In the case of gel this is due primarily to the shrinkage that occurs during curing, even though it may take a while to show...

Too thick a layer or too large a surface (eg. large thumb nail) will make the situation worse.

Once the nail is under this stress a good knock will often be the catalyst for the nail to release in one big pocket...

thinner layers curing as you go should help...
