Hi Guys

I would like to have a pop up salon within a shopping centre - like you see the pop up beauty stations for eyelash waxing etc.

Does anybody know anyone that specialises in them?

Kind regards

Megan

I think it would be a case of contacting a shopping centre manager and asking if they have concession stands or areas that you could rent, like carts etc. they will still be quite expensive for what you get but e foot fall would be fab. Some shopping centres will allow you to rent a unit that they are struggling to get let on a month to month basis but it would mean you could only have 30days notice if they had someone to take on a units lease.

I've asked about this before as I wanted a small unit in a shopping centre for retailing for Xmas sales. Xx

Thanks, I'll bare this in mind, however I wanted something I could pack up and use at alternative venues too. x

Would you be supplying all your own furniture and not using one of their carts/stands? If so, ask to be positioned somewhere near the highest footfalls. A bit like setting up how Sky do when they want to get more subscriptions. I managed to bargain them down from a unit that would cost £2500 per month in a lease to £1000. It's some money coming in for them rather than nothing at all, so they wouldn't sniff at an offer. Good luck with it all xxx

what services would you offer? What would you do regarding shampooing, colouring etc or would you just be offering styling services? x

Hi, sorry for the extremely late reply! Just hair extensions x

I think it's a fantastic idea! But the only problem I can see in it is you mentioned wanting to move around different locations? What would happen if one of your clients had a problem with their extensions, and they come back to where you were and you'd moved on? Xx
