Portfolio of work whilst training?

Hi Geeks

I'm sorry if this has already been asked before.. just wondering, does it make a difference when looking for employment if you put together a portfolio of your work?

I have a work placement alongside college so that I have some strong work experience in a salon & a good reference on my CV, I was just thinking about putting together some pics of work I do as I go along?

I'm a salon owner and yes it makes a huge difference, it shows the employer how passionate you are about your work and what you can do. Fab idea
