Precision Curette

I have just purchased a Precision Curette from SS after seeing it used on the CND video for Shellac. Can anyone tell me what the other end is used for it looks different from the one in the brochure and has a hooked shaped end with a larger head than the other end and it has a small hole in it? I think I should have ordered the probe but the small end looks the same just wondering what the other end was used for?

It is used for the same purpose as the other end and is probably more often used on toes.
