Prep & Wipe but different gel?

hiya, Just starting out

I have some gellux prep and wipe left but I’ve changed to halo gels because they last longer on the nail...does it matter using a different brand of prep and wipe ?

I love the idea of the cnd spa range but I’m using halo gels, I can’t see it being a problem but just wanted some advice x

There's no blanket yes/no answer to this, for example a few years back we discovered CND Scrubfresh caused lifting with EZFlow (acrylic), and Scrubfresh didn't work well with Gel2 gel polish, but there are various techs who mix and match.

The rule of thumb is to stick within the range and always follow the manufacturers guidelines - then you know you are protecting yourself and your clients.
