Hi

Can anybody tell me what the best nail primer is i am using Creative products and at the training we were told that we do not need to use primer however i have noticed the nails are lifting. I have used Creative's primer however i do not think it is very good.

Also i need to get my name out and about in my local area, does anybosy have any ideas to what i can put on my mail shot?

Many thanks
Leo77:)

I am sorry I can't answer your question I don't use creative,

But this is in the wrong forum, it should have been posted in the nail geek forum. I am sure a moderator will move it when they come across it. :)

I think it's highly unlikely that Creative's nail primer is to blame

The most common cause of lifting is insufficient prep. Have a look at the tutorial "perfect prep" and make sure you follow it exactly

If you are using Retention, then it is not likely to be a problem with that, I only ever use that and have never had lifting problems and I never use primer. You need to look again at your nail plate preparation as this is most likely where the problem lies, or maybe you need to fine tune your application a little. Stick with it, its one of the best products on the market and well worth the effort to master.

I think a lot of factors weigh in on this issue. For me humidity is a big one:cry:.
Primer is pretty standard. I use,and highly recommend EZ Flow Primer. I won't be without it!

No offence meant but any lifting problems that you are having at this stage could be down to anything, like not pressing the product properly, incorrect prep, incorrect mix ratio, not making zone 3 thin enough etc etc. Adding primer to the mix will probably not help. Whether it be CND primer or not. Plus you really shouldn't mix systems.
