i kind of f****d up today.
I had a new client who had her hair chemically burnt. It happened 12 weeks ago and she has been taking care of it as best as she can. I coloured as usual... Perm on grey regrowth and demi through the ends. I completely underestimated how much damage had been caused to the cuticle until I was drying her hair and could see that her hair had gone some awful translucent black/grey.
Light reflection didn't help as the hair was so dull.
She wasn't too worried but I have told her to come back in a few days.
Would I be better using a direct dye? Can anyone recommend a great protein filler? I'm assuming this is what it needs. Thanks
