hi, I joined this site years ago but havent posted :o

Anyway, I live in Aus and have just completed the Bio Sculpture course (yay!)

My questions are:

-has anyone (or does anyone) use a different brand of coloured gels with their bio sculptures? Can it be done?

-I pracised on my sister who had lifting on one finger (i done a full set of french sculptures), but once I clipped the lifted gel off, and infilled it, there was a visible refill line. How do I stop this?

-Final question, I done sculptures on 2 people who didnt have great success- they both had short nails (both biters but their nails werent overly short, just at the edge of their fingers, almos no free edge), would I be better to tip, or try sculptures again?!

Thanks :)

Can anyone help?!

I mainly use Biosculpture as NNO and I certainly would not mix brands (you don't know what kind of chemical reaction would occur mixing brands). If you are rebalancing with a different brand, I think that would be different but I wouldn't mix different brands at the one time. Hope that makes sense.

As for the nail repair. If I had lifting, I would probably do a quick soak off or buff it all off.

Biters are never the easiest people to work on. You just have to work out what works for you and each client as all clients are different.

Good luck!

PS: Have you joined the Biosculpture Group?

No, can you tell me how to join the Bio sculpture group?

Thanks!!
