Qualifications in australia

This is a long story but i need some answers so hopefully someone can help me or point me in the right direction. I was working in a hair and nail supply place which was trade only when i met a girl who said she was a nail tech and had her details on the system already. we became friends and i later found out while doin her nails she is not qualified...she is notorious for her lies and she told me she worked in a beauty salon and the nail tech taught her to so nails but the nail tech was not a qualified teacher so she gained no certificate......fast forward 2 years and i have called off our friendship, she is now working out of a salon doin nails and spray tans and is not qualified.

Is she allowed to do this, its onlly after hrs from her full time job but i feel it is totally unfair and unethical she is working on unsuspecting clients who have no idea she has no recognised formal training. Its this sort of back yard wanna be's that are ruining our industry. As it is im competing with NSS in my home town but now a girl who is bad mouthing me and telling everybody im illigally working from home (which is not true). I worked damn hard to do my courses and sacrificied to pay for them and ive achieved to much to let her ruin it. so im wondering what sort of laws are there in australia in regards to qualifications and claiming to be a nail tech

unfortunately there are no laws, only recommendations.
But insurance is not valid unless qualified.
You can't really do anything about her ..... just better yourself, let your work speak for itself.
