Question about backwash connections

Hello, at the risk of sounding really stupid can somebody answer a question for me about back washes please?

When you buy an all in 1 backwash unit(as in the chair and sink connected) if you have a sink already in your salon/room is it just a case of removing the sink and connecting the backwash unit to to the water suppply already there or do you need to do some special plumbing work to connect the backwash to the water supply?

I have searchd but all thats come up is shampoo/conditioner for the back wash and cheapest places to find a backwash unit... Nothing that i can see about how to get them to work! Thank you in advance. X

Hi it should be simple enough although thay will all be slightly different ,are you connecting hot and cold and waste or just waste :-D
