Hi honey
I dont know about the area you live in but my salon has only been open 8 weeks on saturday and we are jumping.
Today has been choc a block but there are two big weddings in the town this weekend and a big local gala day.
I think I have been really luck do to the time of year here as we are full swing in the proms/wedding/gala day/hoilday season.
Just hang on in there it will pick up very soon.

our salon is bouncing flower - we seemed to be quiet a day or two last week, but now, there aint enough hours in the day
ps. i used to live in brighouse too, years ago - cant remember the addy but it only 2 mins walk from town centre - and at the top of a bloody big hill

All i can say is do not get worried or discurraged the credit crunch has hit a lot of areas but i have always found that no matter what the financial climate people tend to hold out a little longer than usual for app's but when they do they usually need a full set instead of for example a fill.... also i dont know if you have half term right now that usually causes a prob... if you are feeling the pinch why not give a few loyal customers a call with "this months offer i.e buy a pedi get a mani half price" or something similar.. cause it is time to get the feet out again..he he....
But what ever you do just stay positive and catch up on stuff.. HTH

We've seen a steady increase in trade over the last couple of months so things are definitely improving.
Maybe a little low cost advertising will halp out. We do A6 flyers as you can get 4 to a sheet of A4 and they are easy to slip into a handbag. If you're quiet, get out on the street and hand some flyers out.
Keep at it.
