I'm not confident with my infills at all, I always seem to chase the lift halfway up the nail, despite filing above the lift as not to loosen the acrylic. And I'm always frightened of hurting the client, I find it hard to file the acrylic and not touch the natural exposed nail near the cuticle.
I am beginning to think my application / ratio must be incorrect. I dont do many infills at all, I mainly do my own left hand, most people are happy that the nails i produce last around 2 -3 weeks but dont want infills, they just book me in again on a monthly basis when they have picked them all off. ?
I have the nailclass book by gigi, I'm still none the wiser. Does anyone recon a 1 - 2 - 1 would help?

Im sure you meant to start just above the lift so as to prevent chasing it up the nail... Remember reading it on a post Gigi wrote... Whats more I think she has this down in her sticky notes at the top of the forum somewhere too :)

hi,
Thats exactly how I try to do it, I start above the lift but this loosens the product and I end up with literally half of the nail off. I have my side walls thin, and blend thinly into the cuticle area, I'm wondering if I do it too thin?
Does anyone do a 1-2-1 on infills ?
