Can anyone give me any info on this ?

I did a gel French overlay ( no tips ) October, November time, I noticed when I was working that she had a touch of oncholysis but stupidly didn't say any thing, so when it got worse she automatically thought it was to do with the o/l. :irked:

She went to docs who confirmed what I though and said it wasn't anything to do with having 1 set of gel o/l !
I told her to keep her nails short and the doc gave her a long course ( 6 weeks I think ) of tablets and medication to go under the nail, it all cleared up she grew her nails again and guess what ???? Its back ?

Why would this be happening ?

(She's not a picker or poker and all she has used on her nails since is an Orly nail treatment ?)

She needs to see a Podiatrist who is an expert in these matters not a doctor.

Whatever is causing this condition is medical and not for us to speculate about. We are not the experts in medical matters nor should we try to be.

Thanks for your speedy reply.

Phew, thats what I told her.

When I saw her at school this morn she came to me to have a look at her nails !!! I told her she needs to go back to the docs and be referred on to the appropriate consultant.
