Hi All
Perhaps l am the only one that thinks that many Doctors do not take nail disorders very seriously. l have had a few Clients that needed to be referred, due to certain characteristics and things that were told to me about the nails, only for the Client coming back saying the Doctor said all was fine, not wanting to cause worry they see another Dr. Only to be told they have very low levels of iron. Creams are the most favored even though they don't know what they are dealing with (some have even said they don't know what it is) what happened to being sent to a skin specialist or taking a sample - Yes l have heard on two occasions about taking a sample of the nail but some do not take it seriously. For example - l had a panaritium/whitlow - yes l asked my Doctor if l could have nail extensions put on with it - he said - yes :x
So - IM ON A ROLL - when a Client comes in with a Doctors note saying services are OK to do, is a bit of a predicament, we know we shouldn't, but we are not Doctors are we! Any one else had this problem? (l have moments when l ramble on - makes me feel better - he he)
