Removing fake tan from furniture?

Hi fellow geeks and merry, healthy and prosperous 2014!

Have just received the following message from an old client that has moved away and wondered who can help? - many thanks:

" I have a question for you as you would probably know this....How the hell do you get fake tan off of laminated white furniture??!!! Any suggestions from yourself or anyone you know will be gratefully received. Ta very much luv xx"

I had this issue with some furniture my mum came to the rescue! She used watered down bleach it was the only thing that would budge it!!
