Hi all, I'm trained in shellac and have a client on Monday evening. My problem is she has a gel polish on at the moment. How do I remove the polish?
Thanks in advance xx

If it is not a soak off gel you will need to file the gel. Unfortunately, there is nothing that will dissolve gel.

This is often a difficult thing to do. If it is really gel polish (and maybe you could find out what brand), the removal should be very similar to Shellac. You should probably buff the top coat and then wrap with remover as you would for Shellac. It will probably take longer than Shellac, so give it a good 10-12 minutes making sure to keep the pad saturated and in full contact with the nail. If it doesn't remove, re-saturate and re-wrap until it does.

Thanks ladies xx
