Retail parties ? (Hi, first post)

Hi, this is my first post so thought I would jump stright in.

I qualified in nails and beauty in 2007, however I haven`t really done much with it, a few friends and family.
I would really like to get back into it and I am looking at some refresher courses.

I'm also considering starting retail partys, that will involve doing a few demos to promote products I will be useing ( which I have not decied yet), maybe have a few prizes a raffle etc and an incentive for people to book further parties and maybe some treatments.

Any opinions and advice on these type of parties would be greatfuly recived.

Hello and welcome!!

As you have already completed the courses and been doing friends/family etc, could you not offer a free treatment for a raffle at schools,clubs etc, build up your confidence and Clientelle that way?

I have heard a few mention getting more Clients through childrens school fetes, raffles etc etc.

Hi koolkitty7, yep this is the sort of line I have been thinking along, also giving treatments as prizes at my retail partys.
May be after a while moving to pamper partys too.
