Roots or mid lengths & ends first?

Hi Geeks, I have a client later on tonight who is wanting 55/65 on her hair, her roots are a base 6 / 7.

I will put half and half 5/0 & 55/65 on the roots but my question is should I put the colour on the roots or midlength & ends first? she has a base 5 redy colour on her midlength & ends.

Id put it on mid lengths and ends first as roots always take quicker as its virgin hair really isnt it. depends if she actually has roots or not. but i wouldnt put it on roots first x

thats what I though but when I called Wella they said to put on roots first lol
yh she has about inch and half roots.

Your going darker so apply from root then ends

I agree 100% roots first...

L'oreal would say apply permanent tint to the roots then a dia colour to to the ends or to add water to fresh colour before applying to ends
