Hi, im busy practising my bio nno and doing ok except having trouble with s gel as a final coat, i dont seem to be able to get it thin around cuticles as i find it difficult to see with it being clear especially on french and it comes out a bit uneven any advice appreciated its driving me mad!!

Hey there..

Sgel is a hard gel to get right. I find if you dont apply enough it doesnt set even. If you apply to little it simply wipes off in areas, practice makes perfect when it comes to Sgel.. It doesn't self level as quick as clear gel, so I found if I applied a small ball of gel to the brush pop that in the centre of the nail then push up and pull down and take the remainder to the sides, then left that hand whilst I painted the other ( I found that it needed that extra time to level itself out and become even) when I came back to the first hand it was even ... If not I knew where to apply more/less gel. Then set for two minutes and wipe with dual cleanser..

However I have now personally stopped using SGEL as we found it was strong when on but difficult to remove!

I had a little chat with Vicki last night and she has asked me to mention that she has detailed instructions for GelShine on her website Welcome.

Please make sure that you are applying a thin coat on dry nails and waiting for it to level before curing it.

If you have other questions, feel free to email Vicki directly at [email protected] or you can email Iryna who also is familiar with the product: [email protected]

Hope this helps! :)

GelShine should be extremely easy t get perfect every application.
It does not spike or shrink.
I like to apply it on dry nails and its easy to apply too much so make sure you have an even thin coat that covers perfectly before curing.
Cure time ina 9 watt uv lamp is only 1 minute.
