SA Capital Allowances help

hi geeks I've started my self assessment tonight and my brain (and eyes!) are hurting now. can someone please help me with a few questions I've got?

I've got to the 'capital allowances' page and im not sure exactly what I should put there other than furniture, decoration things, tools as in straighteners etc. but do I put tools through like combs, brushes, scissors, colour rings and the like? or am I over thinking this? I've looked on the hmrc website but there's not much info on hairdressing stuff!

Generally speaking, capital allowance is usually for those items that will last at least a couple of years not those items that require replacing relatively regularly e.g. brushes etc

Thank you. Yes I went on the website but couldn't find all the answers I needed :/ managed to do it now tho. Hope I've done it right xx
