I nipped into my nearest sally salon services this afternoon - there was very little in the way pf nail products - the woman said that they are stopping star nail and bringing in something called ASP...has anyone heard of this brand or know anything about it? Just being nosey!!!

Yet another product line? I would never buy my professional supplies from Sally's in any case. Who wants to buy their pro products from a place that sells them to your clients???

I `prefer my distributor to be in business with me and to partner with me and to look after me and my needs and give me support as and when ... you don't get that from a beauty supply such as Sallys in my opinion.

I understand what you are saying - but I find Sallys okay for things like couch roll - I do look at the other stuff but rarely buy it -
I have discovered online sources (mainly from here!)where the stuff is of far superior quality and value. We were told to go there by our tutor when we started our college course - I obviously know better now!

ive heard of it, ive seen ads in american trade publications.
never seen or tried it though.

I've seen ads for All Season Professional in my Nailpro magazines. They list the site www.aspnail.com. I've only used the glue (as my instructor swore by it) but haven't tried the acrylic system.

sallys has carried asp here in the states for a few years. i havent tried it yet, nor do i plan to. i've heard its ok. some techs here use it exclusively, but it seems to be mainly the chop shops...better profit for cheap service and products.

sorry i havent tried it personally, nor do i plan to. i just feel that if we are using the same products they can purchase they wont come to us. just my opinion.

Sally's are changing and only supply to therapists and not to the general public. I always find my local Sally;s to be very helpful.
