Scared of my hairdresser

I called my hairdresser to book an appointment and said I want Ombre hair to which she responded so you want highlights so I told her no ombre where it fades out. She said bring a picture we will see.I always go to her and she is young, but i'm scared now as I have an interview on Wednesday for reception in a hairdressers, so I don't want messy hair. So should I just get my usual cut and colour or should I let her attempt it. I'm scared it will just look like roots if its done badly.

I would have thought something like this should be done by someone that specialises in colouring and the fact she isn't sure what it is would probably have me worried too.

Can you go to another hairdresser? I went to a local and ''recommended'' hairdresser to have ombré/balayage and I ended up just having the top half of my head dyed! Obviously she hasn't done any in my small home town. I've had it fixed by a modern salon in the city and I love it now, very low maintenance

That settles it I will definitely go to a different Salon, this one is a small local one where they all cut and colour so I will go to someone more specialised I love Nicole Shertzingers ombré it's so subtle
