Scissor sharpening

Hey, iv had my kashos a year now and was wondering when I should get them sharpened and serviced! They are still v sharp but wasn't sure if scissors should be serviced yearly! I'm a bit dubious as I had my joewells sharpened and they were just as bad when they returned! Hmmm help plz? X

Most kashos and joewells have a convex blade which needs bore regular maintenance than your normal bevelled or serrated blade they normally say 6/8 months if not they lose the precision angle and arnt the same I usually get mine done every 8 months and use a company called g.e better ten and they send them to Japan to be sharpened x
