Good evening all!
Hoping for a little advice from some of our more experienced nail techs
For years I have been a self employed nail tech renting a space within a hair salon. I have recently been given the opportunity to offer my services in a hospital. This is an NHS hospital so the patients will not be paying me directly, but the hospital itself will pay for my services on an hourly basis.
DO NOT WORRY! Before all the worried responses come flooding in stating that you can't be self employed on an hourly rate, you can. But my question is... how much?
I answered the question on the spot, factoring in all the outgoings I could think of at the time and lopped £8 off what I usually earn per hour due to the fact that I won't be paying rent. I also won't be using my more expensive products such as Shellac, and won't be needing my card terminal. But I'm worried I've sold myself short.
Does anyone else have experience in selling your services to a company or have a similar set up?
All advice / reassurance will be greatly received!
