I have just bought a salon, and have a chair for rent full or part time, £80 a week, rising after 4 months , this includes elec/water/phone/salon advertising, tea coffee, you would be self employed so NI etc down to you, we are a new salon so just building a client base so some self promotion or own local clients would be useful to you, would be great for mobile hairdresser with own clients with the cost of petrol these days.
