Just wondering if you geeks think this is true...

I find that some , actaully most of my clients are more sensitive around the time they are due for their period...
do you find this too... and what can i do to make them a little more comfortable? some of them can't even stand a 240 buffer on them
thanks
mel

Apparently drinking a cup of strong coffee about half an hour before is supposed to help, as is taking a couple of painkillers.
I can't remember where I read that but I think it was in an article about waxing!
Might be worth suggesting, sometimes the placebo effect is half the battle with sensitivity/pain cos it just makes people that little bit more relaxed - I used to find when I was nursing if you told people you were going to give them a really good painkiller they'd seem more comfortable than if you just gave the drug and didn't explain.

thanks... i have heard of the pain killers for waxing... I happen to get my legs done yesterday and got my period 2 hours later.... i must say it hurt like hell so that is why i thought maybe it was the same for nails..
Thanks
Mel

YEP, I can tell when my clients are in cycle, they are more sensitive than usual (and i've been doing some of my regulars for 20 years).
