Shadez Machine/Original Pig Machine Advice

Hi All

I recently purchased a pig style HVLP machine, the same as the one available through shadez and am having trouble with the spray gun. The machine iteself is fine, the cup doesn't leak (I know a lot of other geeks have had problems with), my problem is that it just stopped spraying through the solution???

I was trying out on a few friends at the weekend and halfway through it just wouldn't spray any solution through, it wasn't full but had about 1/3 solution in. I emptied out solution and filled with water to clean it through and still nothing??? I had to stop using the gun and the next day my hubby took a look, he was blowing and sucking though the straw at one point!!! Once it was together again and addded water it worked okay. I'm really worried now incase it happens again to a "real" client..I don't want to be faffing around if it happens again. I have contacted the company I got it from but just thought I would see if anyone else has had similar problems.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice will be greatly received.

Have you tried taking the gun apart and cleaning it including the needle? It could be that although, if its new its unlikely but worth a try.....failing that contact Shadez maybe?:hug:

I Have just completed my training with Tantrick and my trainer advised me against purchasing this machine as she said this problem was likely to happen. I got the T200 and am happy with it so far. Try asking to change it!

Your trainer will have been a distributor so they will have advised you against it...Lol.....:green: In all fairness I am a devoted fan of the T200 is a grand machine but I trained a lady who had the Shadez machine 2 weeks ago, and I have to say it was a super little machine, I cant vouch for the longevity of it, but in terms of performance it was great did the job and did it well, minimum overspray.....altho I was slightly sceptical of the heat settings!!

I have a super pig from spraytansupermarket. I couldn't really decide between the T200 and superpig and it was the heat setting that decided it for me. I thought the heat setting would be useful for drying and indeed it is, although even when the heat setting is off it still gives off heat, so not sure how much of a difference it makes.
Other than that I like it and it gives really good results.

i don't have the same machine as you but with the one i have i always wash the cup out thoroughly at the end of the night. i then put warm water in the cup and spray through the gun to get rid of any remaining solution. i leave the warm water in overnight or until i use the machine again. i also dismantle the gun once a week and give it a good clean.
i think guns are like men-give them a good bit of attention once a week and they will do what you want them to do :lol:
