Hello Geeks..

I have a client next week who wants Shellac over her acrylic nails (I didn't do them, I think she got them done at an NSS) anyway, she told me they need in-filling first but just incase she doesn't get them in-filled in time, should I buff down the acrylic then apply Shellac as normal or will Shellac fill out the gap? If that makes sense.

Thank you,
Shakira x

If they need infiling then I'd suggest they are infilled properly, because there could be lifting and also the nail will go out of balance which can cause lifting of the l&p and then cause issues with the shellac, I have one client who gets her nails done elsewhere and I do her shellac and art... I always do the work on same day she gets her nails done.

CND Shellac will no substitute for a proper infill.

Ok, I would of thought so.

Just a thought, many thanks.
