Shellac backfill over Brisa

Hi

I did a set of Brisa Gel Nails 3 weeks ago on a client. I am going back tomorrow to re-balance them, but she has asked me if I can remove them and do a french Shellac Manicure.

Do I need to remove the extensions completely then do the Shellac Manicure, or can I just file them down then backfill with the shellac.

Obviously I would do all the normal prep involved in a shellac manicure

You can thin out the Brisa and then Shellac.
