Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can tell me, usually when I get my nails done for the first time, they soak my cuticles in a soapy(?) water mixture and then trim back around the cuticle and do all those things to get my skin around the nail beds tidied up and ready for the manicure.
I had my first backfill of BIAB two weeks ago, and there was none of that, it was just done dry, they did a light tidy up of any hangnails around the edges etc but basically left my cuticles alone.
When it was finished and I got home I noticed there was a small gap between my nail and the cuticle, and it wasn’t as seamless as it would be with a fresh set.
My question is: is this normal or should I request for them to do the whole soak, treat cuticles step before they backfill?
