Hi all

When doing a cnd shellac French, what order do you do it in?
Base
Negligee
Cream puff
Top coat

Or
Base
Cream puff
Negligee
Top coat

Also, how many layers of both negligee & cream puff do you do?

I also have gold & silver VIP status too for if they want a bit of extra sparkle. In this case then I would do:
Base
Cream puff
VIP sparkle x 2
Top coat

Many thanks

I don't use shellac anymore but used to do
Base
Beau x2
Cream puff x1
Topcoat.
I could always get away with only one coat of cream puff as it covers really well in one coat for French.

I do the white second to the colour so I can perfect with a dampened brush. So, Grapefruit Sparkle and then Studio white (my most asked for combo).

I do base, 1 x negligee, 1 x cream puff, 1 x mother of pearl (optional) and 1 x top coat.

Base, a layer of your chosen colour, then studio white or cream puff, then either top coat or another later if colour and top coat. Dependent on the look the client wants.
You have to have a layer of colour down first before the white, so that if you need to tidy your smile line up you don't remove any base coat.
