It does indeed Hun it's notorious for it 
however it still looks nice when faded but massive difference tropic is also one that fades xxx

Hot Pop Pink is probably the worst one to fade.
But your clients should be told how to help prevent their shellac from fading. It usually only happens when swimming in a chlorinated pool followed by sun bathing (chlorine is a bleach and the sun intensifies this action.) If your client dries her nails off when she gets out of the pool, and is good with solar oil I've found the colour doesn't fade
Its just trying to get them to follow the aftercare is the tough bit
