Hi,
I have someone wanting me to change the colour of shellac that they currently have on. The shellac is on over silk extensions and I'm not 100% sure how I go about removing it without causing any damage to the extension, is anyone able to help please?

I just passed my shellac course with Sweet Squared last week, any advise would be greatly appreciated Xx

Buff the colour way then reapply new colour x

You need to file the colour off. They don't cover this in the course.

Thank you, I thought that would be the case but thought I'd better check just to be safe. Is there a specific buffer you would suggest or would any be ok?

A hotshot file would be most efficient - maybe start Witt the 180 side as its your first time, the 100 side can be mighty sharp! Also if your nervous, use the kanga around the eponychium will take Abit longer but less change of damage :) xx
