Hi all lashers,
Iv been thinking of doing lashes, there was a girl doing them where i work, but left. Thing is I dont really fancy doing semi-permanent because of the length of time they take and don't think i could sit for that length and they seem too faffy for me. Also I do a lot of other different treatments to be able to fit them in.
Does anyone have any pictures of the express lashes and how do they compare? I know they need to be removed after 2 weeks, they do seem a better alternative for me just don't want to make a rash decision.
Any recommendations on training? Flirties come up a lot. Thanks for any advice x

Just done this set today and I was happyish with them. I've not been trained long (since August) so I'm feeling unconfident in the volume compared to classic. However today I did these but the lady wasn't happy with them. She said they don't look natural at all and could I cut them down. I wouldn't cut them down as this would look awful but it's left me feeling so deflated. She's never had any lashes before so don't think she's had anything so dramatic. Could anybody else give their opinion on them please? I'm really wanting to get better as lashes are my main source of income. I'm still doing volume at a reduced rate. X

Your work is amazing!! Making me want to train in volume but don't know if iv the patience, by the end of a full classic set Iv usually had enough! Xx

The drama of a volume set probably was just too much for her personally, especially in the design you did if she's never had lashes before.
Different designs can alter perceptions of the eye and how natural the set looks. Try a softer curl for this client, the top doesn't look feathered and natural as it all just goes in a line curled over at the top (does that even make sense? I'm quite tired!)
And get the inner corner lashed, they just seem to stop. Natural lashes can be very full but they always taper from the inner corner.
Don't be afraid to try mixing curls and as many lengths as you like just to add depth and texture to the set. I tend to use a softer curl on the inner corner even if I don't blend others in throughout the set.
