Silly, but what is a custom blend gel?

i keep reading about this. i've never really done gels, but when i did, the gel was pink or clear.
are you mixing gel colors to make a color that will go better on your client than another?

Some manufacturers make gel which is opaque in colour, it offers coverage to short nailbeds, it is possible to mix a custom blend gel but it's normally trial and error to get the colour right so you're better off buying it already premixed.
