Spa manicure/pedicure

Hi all
I am just looking for advice on including gel polish in a spa manicure or pedicure...

On my gel polish course we were taught to do all cuticle work dry & to dehydrate the nail plate as much as possible in preparation for the gel polish. If somebody books in for a spa mani & pedi including mask & heat treatments/massage etc, how do you do the gel Polish if they request it? It seems a waste to nourish the nails, cuticles, hands etc to then dehydrate then completely to apply the gel polish? Would you apply the gel polish & then do the mani pedi afterwards?

I always do a reverse manicure/pedicure if they want gel with spa treatment. So nail prep & application of gel, then do the luxury bits after X

I do full pedi and gel last, no problems with it lasting

I do the gel polish with dry cutcle work first.
